Thank you for your interest in the Passing the Torch campaign. This campaign, dedicated to raising funds for the design and development of new exhibitions, programmes and outreach for the Canadian War Museum, has officially come to a close. The Museum continues to accept donations for the education, preservation and remembrance of Canada's great military history. Thanks to the generosity and support of the many donors, the campaign was a remarkable success. The objective was to raise $15 million from the private sector and the final campaign total was just over $16.5 million. The Museum would like to thank all individuals and organizations who, by their generous financial support and interest in Canada's military history, helped to make the new museum a reality. Although the official Passing the Torch campaign ended with the opening of the new Museum, donations are always appreciated. Every dollar raised supports of Canada's national museum of military history to ensure that future generations continue to learn of the many ways in which our military heritage has shaped this country. By contributing to the Canadian War Museum, you will help us preserve and protect some of the world's finest collections of military art and artifacts.
